Terms of Service

Please read these terms before buying, joining, or using our material.

They explain what you may expect from us and what we expect from you.

1. Who we are

The Paid Squad is operated by Baleseng Co (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2019/428348/07, a company registered in South Africa. In these terms, “The Paid Squad”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Baleseng Co (Pty) Ltd.

2. When these terms apply

These terms apply when you browse our website, join a waitlist, buy a programme, attend a live session, enter a member area, use a template or resource, or take part in our community. By doing any of these things, you agree to these terms and the policies linked from this page.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. If you buy for a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.

3. Accounts and access

Your account is personal to you. Keep your login details private. You may not sell, lend, share, transfer, or expose your access to another person. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Access may be restricted or suspended where payment is overdue, membership has ended, security is at risk, or these terms have been breached. A preview shown to a non-member does not create a right to enter the full member area.

4. Prices, payments and renewals

Prices, billing periods, taxes, currency and inclusions are shown at checkout or in the written offer you accept. You authorise the payment provider to charge the selected payment method. Recurring memberships renew for the stated billing period until cancelled.

You may cancel a recurring membership before the next renewal. Cancellation stops future charges. Unless law or the offer states otherwise, access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Our Refund Policy forms part of these terms.

5. Digital delivery

Our programmes and memberships are delivered electronically. After confirmed payment and any required verification, access instructions are sent to the purchase email address or made available in the member account. We do not ship physical goods. See our Services & Delivery page for the full description and fulfilment process.

6. Programmes, sessions and community

Programme dates, live sessions, speakers, resources and community features may change where reasonably necessary. We may replace a session or facilitator with a suitable alternative. Recordings may be made available at our discretion.

Community spaces are built for useful work and respectful support. We may remove content or members where needed to protect safety, privacy, intellectual property, the learning experience, or the integrity of the community.

7. What is not allowed

  • Harassment, hate speech, threats, discrimination, stalking, or deliberate disruption.
  • Sharing another member’s personal information, messages, work, or results without permission.
  • Soliciting members through spam, deceptive offers, or unauthorised data collection.
  • Scraping, copying, recording, republishing, reselling, or exploiting the platform or its content.
  • Using our content to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or supply an artificial intelligence system without prior written permission.
  • Evading access controls or helping another person do so.

8. Intellectual property

Our courses, flywheel, frameworks, copy, designs, videos, recordings, documents, templates, prompts, systems, community material, branding, and member-area content are owned by us or used with permission. Paying for access does not transfer ownership.

You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use purchased material for your own personal or internal business learning. You may apply what you learn. You may not reproduce or distribute the teaching material itself.

Unauthorised sharing or theft will be enforced. Where we reasonably believe our work has been copied, leaked, reproduced, sold, scraped, shared, or passed off as someone else’s, we may preserve evidence, terminate access, issue takedown notices, seek an interdict or injunction, claim damages or an account of profits, recover legal costs where permitted, and pursue other remedies available by law. We reserve the right to bring proceedings in South Africa and in any other court with jurisdiction over the person, conduct, platform, or resulting harm.

More detail appears in our Content Protection Policy.

9. Results and professional advice

We provide education, tools, feedback, and community support. We do not guarantee income, clients, employment, platform rankings, or any particular outcome. Results shown on the website are individual experiences.

Our material is not legal, tax, financial, medical, or investment advice. You remain responsible for decisions, applications, proposals, contracts, pricing, and compliance in your own work.

10. Availability and liability

We work to keep our services useful and available. Interruptions, maintenance, platform changes, and events outside our reasonable control may occur. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunities, loss of data, or decisions made from educational content.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing removes a right or remedy you have under the Consumer Protection Act, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, or another applicable law.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Before starting formal proceedings, each party should give the other written notice and a reasonable chance to resolve the dispute.

Subject to any mandatory consumer right, South African courts have jurisdiction. We may also seek urgent or intellectual-property relief in any competent court where infringement occurs, where an infringer resides or does business, or where relevant assets, evidence, platforms, or harm are located.

12. Changes and severability

We may update these terms for legal, security, operational, or service changes. The effective date will be updated. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only as far as necessary. The remaining terms continue to apply.
